ABOUT
I've taking up photography at around 2012. I love photographing at concerts, trying to take that one shot, that has it all.
After more than 14 years of drawing and painting portraits, my interests shifted to photography, using therefore (hopefully) the best of both disciplines. In painting I love the use of color while in portrait photography I tend to favor black & white.
A few years later I started going back in time with older photographic processes: first, in 2016 analog film, shooting and processing 35 mm and medium format, in color as well as black & white, followed end 2020 by wet plate collodion photography. A process introduced in 1851 by Frederick Scott Archer. By using the old techniques of wet plate collodion with so many different chemicals to produce pictures, it feels like finally combining painting and photography.
